Ancient Arts with Therese Watkins Camp Description Do you like learning about ancient Roman or Egyptian history? Are you a fan of the Percy Jackson series? If so, this camp is for you! Throughout the course of the week, students in this workshop will step back in time to explore different ancient art forms like mosaic, fresco painting, carving, and more using inspiration from Mediterranean artifacts and mythology. Discover how ancient artists decorated their world, and create your own museum-worthy pieces to take home! About the Instructor Therese Watkins is Penland’s Community Collaboration Program Coordinator and Teaching Artist.
