Create Your Own Wonderland: Fun with Felt and Clay

Camp Description

Journey to the wonderlands of the imagination and create a fantasy land with felted rivers and forests, creatures made from clay, and structures from found objects. We will explore a variety of materials, stretch our imaginations, and explore stories to inspire us as we go along.

About the Instructor

Anna Early enjoys guiding children of all ages to explore their inner-artist and create! She has taught at Penland Kids Camp for many years and holds a Montessori Teaching Certificate.  Anna enjoys teaching and making pottery, and also works as a teaching artist in Mitchell and Yancey county schools.

A few important specifics

• Age: Your child's age must fall within the age range specified for the workshop before it begins. If your child is within a month of the cutoff date and you feel they would be able to fit in with the group, you may email [email protected] to request special consideration.

• Medical Information: If your child has accessibility needs, allergies, food sensitivities, etc. you must indicate this in the “Medical Information” section and also speak to the instructor at the beginning of the camp.

• Cancellation Policy: If you cancel anytime up to 6 weeks before the beginning of a camp or workshop, you will receive a refund minus the $25 nonrefundable processing fee. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before the beginning of a camp or workshop, refunds are not available.
